Our program

  • With Pre-K being the year before going to Kindergarten emphasis is placed on increasing on-task skills and attention, following directions, and learning how to appropriately interact in a class/group.
  • Having already experienced Preschool, classroom activities and lessons emphasized in Pre-K focus on mastering those skills previously introduced in all areas of pre-academics as well as early primary skills in reading emphasizing phonics and letter blends and math emphasizing an understanding of one to one correspondence, and addition/subtraction. 
  • Staff/child interactions include conversations with open-ended questions, listening, following directions, singing, reading, laughing, and playing.
  • Developmental assessment specific to Pre-Kindergarten.
